The laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles. This damage delays future hair growth from several months to years.
It is important after to NOT EXERCISE. When sweat is created on the area, you will develop a stinging sensation that can take several hours to dissipate.
The intensity of the pain depends on a person’s pain tolerance.
Laser Hair Removal is a process that may differentiate in many people.Â

Â
The laser hair removal prices vary according to the size of the areas that you wish to treat; we offer different prices for small, medium and large areas. So, we invite you to come to a free initial consultation in order to evaluate your skin, that way we can determine skin type and condition and hair type to be able to provide you with a personalized service.
At the consultation, we explain to you everything about the treatment, including costs and financing options.Â
The session length depends on the area treated; it can take from 15min to 30min approximately.
Any person can undergo this treatment but in minors with parental consent.
There are only some exceptions when there is a history of cancer, when the hair is blonde and in the case of pregnant women and that their treating physician does not authorize it. However, it is a treatment 100% aesthetic that according to the protocol this would not affect the baby’s growth. For patient and company safety we must follow medical recommendations.
The best time to schedule laser hair removal is during the fall and winter. This is due to the fact that during the fall and winter, you’ll have limited sun exposure, limited skin exposure, and it’s proven that laser hair removal is more effective on pale skin and dark hair.
Avoid sun exposure to reduce chance of dark or light spots for 2 weeks.Â
Use Sunscreen (spf 30 or higher) throughout treatment period & 1-2 months following.
You can use Aloe Vera which is amazing due to its moisturizing, repairing and soothing properties. You will also avoid any discomfort such as redness.
If you feel severely discomforted after the procedure please take Tylenol.
In women it’s recommended to have laser hair removal after their first menstruation typically 16 years old. In men from 18 years of age, taking into account that hair in men does not stop growing until maturity.
Laser treatment does not require anesthesia.
BURNS: A burn occurs when the setting on the machine are too high, skin is thinner than normal, a darker color than normal, and/or has been treated by a medication that could cause photosensitivity.
If a burn occurs we advise to keep the area open. Do not try to cover the area with clothing or bandages. You want the skin to be able to breath as to keep the heat from being trapped. The skin must stay as cool as possible. Â
In the first 24 hours, the skin will be painful and red. We advise to apply cold compresses – soft rag soaked in ice cold water. DO NOT apply ice directly onto the skin. It will temporarily relieve the pain, but could the negative effects on the skin. or pain, you could take a painkiller or use Neosporin with lidocaine.Â
Water blisters may occur they are your body’s way of cooling the lower layers. Do not pop it and just allow the skin the time it needs to heal. The next day or the day after, a scab will form. You cannot pick on the scab. Try to avoid contact with the sun on the area that has been scabbed.Â
